Kangararoo

Kangaroos come in various sizes, with the largest species being the *Red Kangaroo*. Adult red kangaroos can stand over 8 feet tall, including their tail, and can weigh up to 200 pounds. Their fur is usually reddish-brown, which helps them blend into the Australian desert landscapes. Other species of kangaroos, such as the *Eastern Grey Kangaroo*, have grey fur and are slightly smaller than the red kangaroo.

*Habitat and Distribution*

Kangaroos are found primarily in Australia, where they inhabit a variety of environments, including deserts, grasslands, and forests. They are well adapted to survive in Australia’s harsh climate, where food and water can be scarce. Some species of kangaroos, like the *Antilopine Kangaroo*, are also found in parts of Papua New Guinea.

While kangaroos are commonly associated with the outback, they can also be found in more temperate regions, and they tend to live in areas where there is plenty of grass or low vegetation. Due to their adaptability, kangaroos can be found in a range of habitats, from the cold, mountainous regions to the warm, arid areas of the country.
